It is a great pleasure to announce the appointment of our new Head Coach, Peter Morgan.

Pete will be our lead coach for both junior and senior cricket, he will attend our winter and summer nets and in due course, we will release information about one to ones.

Pete, 31, is a Level 4 Coach (one of only 200 or so in the world). We are very lucky to have him. He will also help us to develop a ‘coaching structure’ and help the club go to the next level in regards to the development opportunities it offers all players.

The aim is to become the best club in the area to develop your cricket (regardless of your age).

As a player, Pete is a top order batsman and wicket keeper, and has represented Lincolnshire and Sussex. He will not be playing on a Saturday for us next season due to pre arranged commitments.

Those of you who have sessions planned with Andy Pick, they will still go ahead as planned.

This really is a major step forward for the club. I am sure you will all make him feel very welcome.

Winter Signing

We have great pleasure in announcing our first winter signing which is Wicketkeeper/Batsman Shay Brady from Helensburgh Tigers. Shay has been recommended to us by Lyndon James. Shay wants to play a good level of cricket whilst experiencing the delights of the UK. He will land at the start of April in time for pre-season, Shay will enhance the current playing personnel at the club. Shay will be registered as a non professional. A special mention must go to Olly Clayfield helping to get Shay to join along with Lyndon. I hope you’ll all join me in welcoming Shay to the club.
