The Belvoir Womens Cricket Squad made club history last evening as they played the first ever competitive fixture for a Belvoir Womens Team !
Not only did they compete but they won their opening fixture in the Nottinghamshire Indoor Women’s Softball League by beating Farndon. They lost the second fixture of the evening by just 2 runs to a much more experienced Newark side.
All in all a terrific start to competitve womens cricket at Belvoir and congratulations to all involved especially team manager Sue Sharpe for all her hard work in getting things organised !
